One of my digital collages, I constructed this piece in 2002, shortly after moving back to Ireland. the imagery was captured using 35mm then the negatives scanned in using a malfunctioning scanner that distorted colouring. It took a long time to complete. This is a digitally constructed artwork taking the photo montage style of David Hockney's overlapping photo art-works as it's inspiration, this image is trying to evolve a new style of landscape art ' Superealism ', encapsulating the abstract of mood and emotion in a digital format.
